GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD

HOW TO GET AROUND
- Mataró station is 10 minutes from the apartment. There are trains every 7-15 minutes to Barcelona (journey time about 35 minutes) or to the Costa Brava. To get to the town from Barcelona: Barcelona-Plaça de Catalunya or Barcelona-Sants take the R1 train line towards Maçanet-Massanes or Mataró to the "Mataró" stop, about 35 minutes.
- By bus, every 30 minutes to Barcelona, ​​the journey time is approximately 50 minutes.
- You can also reach the town via the motorway or the N-II highway, which runs along the entire coast.

OTHER NOTEWORTHY
- Please note that arrivals between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. incur an additional fee of €25. Arrivals between 10:00 p.m. and midnight incur an additional fee of €50. In both cases, cash will be collected upon arrival. Arrivals after midnight will not be processed; guests will have to wait until 9:30 a.m., when the office reopens.
- Upon arrival, a tourist tax of €1 per night per person must be paid, in accordance with regulations established by the Catalan government.
- At check-in, both adults and minors must identify themselves with their ID, NIE, passport, or family record book.
